The year is 1961. Jackie and Terry Bumbry are a mixed race couple who have a paranormal encounter with a bright light in the sky while driving near Mount Shasta. A series of men are lured to their destruction when they engage in a steamy tango with a seductive dance partner. With a lush musical score, Jazz Age costumes, and visually striking cinematography, this evocative short film uses the tango as a metaphor for life’s tempting interruptions. Featuring original choreography by Dani Rowe performed by principal dancers Sasha De Sola and Luke Ingham from the San Francisco Ballet.
